ICG Analytics: Business Management Team, Mumbai

Business Management team is primarily responsible for running and analyzing internal business metrics data (client revenue, returns, backlog management, client calling, exposure, risk capital, RWA, etc.) and wallet analysis and supporting various franchise initiatives and internal strategy presentations.

Role Outline/Job Summary

Supporting business leads on all matters relating to  headcount data, including updating the data daily/monthly, and creating reports and analysis for the management on actual staff, pipeline hires, promotions, internal and external movements Maintaining various data books on headcount as per the businesses within BCMA Provide insights to help with business expense approvals Drive various spend analytics initiatives to assist management decisions and to help identify efficiencies to the business, including streamlining systems and reporting; develop robust process for tracking and monitoring franchise spending Generate analytics across all expense lines; allocated and direct   Participate in project work / enquires relating to expense mechanics and drivers Work closely with regional HC/Expense lead, Finance, Compliance, and other functional teams to ensure coordination of expense and headcount budgeting/planning Engage with regional HC/Expense lead in BCMA to provide actionable insights and trends to senior management Preparing reports and presentations on franchise performance for presentation to senior management Participate in planning, execution and follow ups of Management disciplines Look for efficiency on day to day reporting by automating as much as possible

Business/ Department

Objectives:

The analyst will provide close support to the Asia BCMA Business Management Team

Core Responsibilities:

1. Assist in  expense management for APAC BCMA

2. Analyzing internal financial metrics data and headcount analysis

3. Support regional BCMA Business Managers in the Franchise

4. Focus on efficiency and attention to details

Key Deliverables  / Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Headcount analysis for APAC BCMA

2. Expense management for APAC BCMA

3. Preparing performance-based reports and presentations for franchise management to be delivered to senior management and business managers

Experience:

18 months and above in your current role

Skills:

Existing knowledge of Citi expense systems and processes; highly advantageous Tools -  Excel / PPT: Should be equipped with advanced excel functionalities Effective communication skills (written and verbal) Should be inquisitive, proactive and show excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong team player skills Confident and extroverted personality Must be able to work well under pressure and to prioritize workload in order to deliver quality results Ability to manage confidential data
