BCMA technology is focused on building a cross-functional team of talented individuals, creating a unique platform to deliver products that will disrupt the industry through technical innovation and creativity. 

BCMA Technology is looking for an experienced UX engineer who work closely with product managers, developers, and business analysts to translate user needs and business requirements/solutions that drive client satisfaction. Also work with other designers across BCMA business and as a part of the bigger design community within Citi.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the vision and drive the design plan for the experience to deliver top-tier results

  • Advocate for, represent human-centered design and design thinking methodologies among senior leadership

  • Translate user needs and business requirements into effective solutions that improve overall customer experience

  • Connect and validate business requirements with user behavioral and engagement data to design practical solutions

  • Drive and lead conversations to identify the right problems to solve that can bring successful results

  • Bring concepts to life using experience maps, task flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

  • Communicate design decisions and solutions to wide range of audiences including business partners and stakeholders

  • Establish and govern design standards that can scale and fit within larger design systems and patterns, as well as best practices

  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers and other designers throughout overall product development process

Skills:

  • Ability to lead overall design process from ideation to high-fidelity mockups to user testing

  • Ability to manage and work around uncertainty

  • Proficiency with current design and collaboration tools (Sketch, InVision, Zeplin etc.)

  • Experience developing a vision for a design function and execution following the vision

  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams in agile environment

  • Capability of clearly communicate your design decisions and solutions with the team and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of design experience working specifically in the user experience space.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines with changing priorities.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and inquisitive with an interest in Investment Banking and Capital Markets.

  • Ability to drive strategy and use both data and judgement to make critical decisions on behalf of technology and the business.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
