The Senior Strategy & Execution Lead is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the coordination of the governance, regulatory Affairs & Communication engagement activities for the BIR Strategy & Execution Team.  The team drives the overall BIR Business Strategy Execution activities, these tasks may include managing or addressing regulatory/Internal Audit issues, structuring processes supporting governance, regulatory affairs for the BIR organization. This role will provide unique visibility, cross-functional experience, and knowledge both within Risk Management and across other Products and Functions. The position involves a significant interaction and communicates to both internal and external stakeholders including Regulatory confidence in the firm's risk management practices as well as direct involvement in a variety of strategic projects. 


Responsibilities:
•    Coordinate and drives adherence to the Governance Policy and Standards, including delivery of the WCRC Governance Committee and ensuring BIR Governance process are in adherence to local BoD or Corporate standards as applicable.
•    As a Senior Strategy & Execution Lead is responsible to oversee BIR Governance, the role will focus on oversight of Risk governance structures and assessments of compliance with corporate policies on Risk Management 
•    The role will include intensive cooperation with global teams of regulatory affairs, governance, and CAO, staying on top of regulatory and internal requirements and leading projects, both in the enhancement and remediation areas.
•    Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy.
•    Develop a proactive control approach which furthers strategic objectives and promote efficiency, while minimizing risk and exposure around the processes under the Strategy and Business BIR CAO function.
•    Coordinate communication strategies across the BIR organization in parentship with the HR Team
•    Work with Technology leadership to support optimization/simplification of processes under scope of the BIR Execution strategy team (approval workflows, as well as the Communication strategy)
•    Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:
•    10+ years of experience in financial services
•    Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
•    Knowledge of the financial services industry particularly wholesale credit risk, including counterparty risk, leverage finance and/or FMI
•    Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
•    Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
•    Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication and proficiency in presentation skills
Education:
•    Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
•    Master's degree preferred
