Job Purpose:
The Citi Cross Product Technology team is seeking a site lead to be part of its core development team. You need be a proven leader with extensive experience is leading a large diverse technology teams in a captive nearshore location. You will be leading the technology team responsible for developing cutting edge Portal/research/sales/Cross-asset class applications in multiple technologies. Your responsibilities include day to day direction for the site activities, people management, mentoring team members, building cutting-edge teams, retaining/nurturing talent, application development oversight and interaction with other technologists across the location. You will be a good communicator, who can work effectively with both local as well as remote teams.

This role also provides the opportunity to partner with leading site mangers to improvise on the Captive's capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership of Cross Product Technology Team
- Primary Responsibility for the delivery of the Sales Technology Items with matrix responsibility of the Research Technology Team
- Team building (recruiting/retaining top talent across the organization); Foster collaboration across the team and build technical excellence in database, middleware and UI components
- Effectively apply Citi support methodologies and enforces project standards
- Prepare and present team/project reviews on a regular basis to senior management
- Facilitate team and client meetings. Represent team in the local management meetings as well as be the face for the team during the client and upper management visits
- Ensure that career and staff development programs are in place; provide staff with opportunities to grow and improve
- Lead and deliver local staff forums, present global, regional and location news and updates so that team feel engaged in the progress of the organization
- Perform a senior Technology advisory role to the team
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
- Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
- Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
- Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years IT experience, with 10+ years' experience at a management level, being able to demonstrate people/project management skills.
- Financial services experience is a plus
- Experience in influential senior roles is desired
- Strong communicator, able to create and maintain people relationships
- Proficient in IT process and procedures
- Experience managing global technology teams
- Working knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
