Senior Software Engineer (AVP level)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of an Agile delivery team as a full-stack engineer
  • Participate in daily standup meetings and other scrum events
  • Work closely with the scrum master and product owner during sprint planning
  • Perform hands-on development with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, JDBC, REST among others)
  • Perform hands-on development with Mongo and Oracle
  • Work collaboratively with UI, Middleware and QE team members
  • Focus on producing high quality deliverables


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Any Agile certifications
  • Any Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Technology Skills:

  • Strong OOP and Java/JEE experience
  • Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, JDBC, AOP)
  • Messaging experience with Kafka
  • Experience with Oracle and Mongo including creating models
  • Familiar with JIRA and Confluent
  • Expert using source-control management software such as Git.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, uDeploy)
  • Experience with REST-based web services
  • Expert using Agile and Continuous delivery

Other Competencies:

  • Ability to quickly ramp-up on new / emerging technologies as required
  • Focus in web-based software delivery technology
  • 5+ years in designing and developing web applications/platforms
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills with local/remote teams.
