Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services, and wealth management.
The Quattro Development and CVA Technology teams actively develop and enhance a set of co-operative, strategic systems and services which have a direct bearing on how Citi Capital Markets manages risk arising from trading, including both market and counterparty credit risks. We support traders, salespeople, risk managers, financial controllers and operations staff who are located mostly in London and New York.
Quattro Data is a risk reference data system that is an integral part of daily CVA and risk calculations. We primarily source input data from various upstream systems and enhance it by applying various logic to resolve data such as credit ratings, credit curves and discount indexes. These are are directly fed to downstream components and have a direct impact on daily CVA calculations. We also maintain and enhance various reporting streams that run in parallel, as well as another component called Netting Set Generator which is used to aggregate trade data for risk calculations.
Quattro Data and Netting Set Generator is currently being built out of Mississauga, ON with close collaboration with a team in Shanghai. The Quattro team is looking to hire developers to build and maintain the technology platform that helps manage the firm’s Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA).
The Quattro application enables Front Office Systems including Rates, Equities, FX, Commodities, and Credit Systems to compute CVA and report the results to Finance Systems. The primary functions are:
- Reference Data sourcing, management and distribution
- Aggregation and netting of CVA results across multiple business lines
- Distribution of CVA results to the Firm’s Risk and Finance Systems
