PMO Analyst - Hybrid
The PMO Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities:
Utilize project management tools and provides project status tracking and metrics
Provide SME oversight for several PMO competence areas across the SST program/project portfolio including key initiatives
Assist technology leads and project managers in managing a large portfolio of key initiatives and critical programs to maintain compliance with Citi's Project and Program Management Policies (PPMP)
Enforce a culture of compliance with SDLC best practices across the assigned Book of Work
Continue to stay up to date on latest PM procedural changes, updates to Citi's PPMP and enhancements to the Project Tracking System, provide mentoring and training to other PMs and act as an SME
Ensure that the assigned Book of Work is executed in compliance with the Project & Program Management Process guaranteeing a clean-sheet in the related quality metrics
Identify and maintain the key project and business critical milestones making sure they’re regularly updated and ready for senior management reporting
Support team members in the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.
Proactively follow escalation and change control processes, as required
Utilize proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecards
Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders
Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects
Qualifications:
4-6 years experience working in a PMO environment
Experience with SDLC processes for Iterative/Agile/Waterfall methodologies
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
PMP or equivalent certification preferred
