The Enterprise Chief Data Officer (“ECDO”) team drives data governance strategy for the firm’s data and the adoption of consistent standards and capabilities.  Region-aligned Chief Data Officer (“Federated CDOs” of “FCDO”) role will facilitate all aspects of ECDO’s agenda in full partnership, other business- / function- / region-aligned CDOs, and most all other aspects of the firm with the goal of ensuring all needs are identified and satisfied.

Reporting Line:  Latam Regional CAO / Data Transformation Sponsor + matrix to Data Transformation Chair


  • Help develop business- / function- / region-aligned Data Transformation Strategy in partnership with ECDO, in particular to meet the specific needs of the business / function / region for which you are responsible.
  • People and communications strategy (in partnership with Human Resources).
  • Facilitate and manage the budget process (in partnership with Finance).
  • Ensure sound program / project management for entire Data Transformation portfolio (in partnership with Program Management Office), including ensuring clear deliverables and timeframe, timely identification of risks to delivery, identified internal clients / beneficiaries, and a process that ensures accurate milestone reporting and changes.
  • Lead development of metrics, and develop simple repeatable process to produce them on regular cadence.
  • Coordinate and drive presentations to all audiences, including the Citigroup Board, Executive Management Team, and partners.
  • Drive offsites (when needed).


  • 15+ years of finance and overall business management experience in a complex, financial organization, with particular focus in the data space; deep familiarity with the region you serve.
  • Familiarity with and ability to influence the business / function / region being supported
  • Proven ability to execute large complex change programs.
  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead across a large, global financial firm.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
