The regional Citi Private Bank Financial Planning & Analysis (CPB FP&A) team supplies Senior Management with analysis and insight into financial results for Latin America. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making at the senior levels to drive performance. The team manages the annual budget, CCAR, and forecasts, to drive the long term performance of the company. FP&A provides the planning and analytics for a variety of legal entities and specialties including Citibank, N.A., customer analytics, acquisitions, divestitures, investment initiatives, re-engineering programs, expense analysis, cost of credit trends and net interest margin.

LATAM Private Bank business generates annual Client revenues of more than $300M.  It has an on-shore presence in Brazil and Mexico, and the rest of Latin American clients are served from its offices in Miami, NY and Geneva.

As part of the CPB FP&A team, the successful candidate will be supporting business and regional requirement of Banking, Lending, Managed Investment, Capital Markets, Trust, Custody, and other products, delivering best in class analytical support to the regional product heads, FP&A, and countries. Additional responsibilities are coordinate the regional flash process for revenues, balance sheet, and cost of credit; GRA analytics, process improvements, ad-hoc request from business, and liaison with the COE team in Mumbai.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years in Finance related roles with a combination of accounting/control and planning/analysis is preferred.  A focus on product analytics supporting Private Bank business/products highly preferred.  
  • A broad understanding of the financial services industry experience preferred.
  • Background in the following is a plus:
    • Citi's organization and systems framework
    • Reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of Private Bank Systems (PBMS/GMIS), Pearl, and Ruby preferred.
  • Knowledge of Knime, PowerBI, Tableau preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English)
  • Strong data management/analytical/data analysis skills and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, perform well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines demonstrating independent leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, process, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal customers and senior management.
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and implement data and process improvements.
  • Consistently produce high quality work, fine-tuned to the audience.
  • Self-starter and quick learner.
  • Team oriented/team player.
