This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the growth of Funds Services within Citi. The individual will be responsible for working with business, technology and operations teams to gather, analyze and document requirements for implementation of new processes & system functionalities.

The role requires good understanding of Fund service operations, as the role requires client interaction and the ability to break down business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams.

Ability to work successfully on multiple projects and different stakeholders at the same time is pivotal for this role.


  • Analyze requirements using interviews, document analysis and requirements workshops.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Effective documentation of business and functional requirements in specified templates
  • Process mapping of As Is and To Be business processes clearly showing benefits and potential improvements.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers.
  • Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely and controlled execution of changes
  • Stakeholder (external & internal) expectation management and proactive escalation / reporting of issues that could impact project timelines or objectives
  • Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
  • Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Defect Analysis


  • Business analysis skills including proactive identification of process improvement opportunities
  • Good knowledge of Project Management concepts and ability to keep stakeholders accountable for respective project deliverables
  • Good knowledge of testing methodology and different testing techniques
  • Experienced working in report development
  • Ability to meet deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Working knowledge in a Financial Services organization and understanding of Financial Services (essential)
  • Advanced knowledge of fund administration (Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency) (Ideal)
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools including Project Plan and Visio
  • Good understanding databases (e.g. Oracle), file transfer procedures etc.
  • Understanding of different financial instruments / investment options


  • A good level of decision-making is required.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated and hard working.
  • Ability to handle work pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Technology or Business Studies.
  • Business analysis or Project Management certification would be an advantage
