Regional Lending Spec SAFE Act - Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Consistently leverage relationship building skills and provide expert support to the team and products by driving sales.
- Responsible for branch volume, penetration, file quality for aligned branches/areas.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless client coverage in the marketplace and alignment between the assigned Loan Officer and their respective branches.
- Spend at least 4 days per week conducting branch visits in the assigned territory.
- Focus on managing business development by working with Tellers, Bankers, and Branch Managers and other Retail Bank Business partners to engage with lending and create an ongoing process to improve skills.
- Leverage sales knowledge to assist branch staff with product placement, tips on initiating a credit conversation and building positive client rapport.
- Focus on networking by challenging and encouraging Tellers, Bankers and Branch Managers to provide Realtor contacts.
- Attend meetings with branch staff to assist in building relationships.
- Conduct Seminars in designated coverage markets, and coordinate with local Business Development Officers.
- Actively engage and partner with Community lending BDO, Investment Bankers, Business Bankers, Realtors, Builders, Attorneys and other center of influence partners to bring incremental/self source mortgage volume.
- Responsible for managing frequent sales initiatives in the bank sales footprint to introduce potential customer to purchase and refinance mortgage opportunities.
- Participate in Area/Division wide call nights and monthly/weekly review meetings.
- Assist retail bank in production to goals, application to close ratio, and cross-sell.
- Raise awareness among sales and branch on initiatives including brand advertising, campaigns and promotions with robust usage of Citi approved marketing materials.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 2-5 previous relevant business experience required
- Sales oriented individual proficient with the following skills: professional oral and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building, follow up, computer experience and analytical thinking and problem solving. Must be self- motivated with high energy & a positive attitude.
- Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented & results driven.
