The TTS EMEA Onboarding organization is responsible for coordinating the delivery of global, regional & local commercial cards solutions to Citi’s top tier corporate, FI, Public Sector and CCB clients. The TTS Onboarding organization drives client solution delivery & revenue conversion leveraging structured project management techniques. This is a leadership position heading up EMEA’s Commercial Cards Onboarding team, reporting directly to the Global Implementation head.

The job:

  • Define & execute the global commercial cards implementation strategy for EMEA

  • Ensure a seamless client on boarding experience through the application of best in class client project management methodologies.

  • Effective management of client relationships and development of the cards team as trusted advisor. Enhanced client satisfaction should be reflected in positive client survey scores & documented during detailed post implementation reviews & case book write ups for future implementation usage & marketing purposes.

  • Maximize Citi’s global network to ensure consistent, best in class solution delivery to our clients across geographies & functions

  • Ensure team consistently delivers against business goals & performance metrics. Deliver revenue conversion & ramp up targets, defined Scorecard KPI’s & “Must Win Battles”.

  • Lead escalation & provide senior support to overcome barriers to client solution delivery.

  • Continuously reduce implementation cycle time, ensuring the team consistently minimizes deal slippage & associated revenue conversion lead time. Accurately report project status, escalating effectively for slow moving projects.  

  • Deliver productivity & re-engineering programs to establish a scalable cards onboarding model that maximizes skills within the group & removes inefficient processes. 

  • People management: ensure effective people management, talent development, retention & succession planning practices are observed.

  • Effective workload management/prioritization to increase capacity/productivity within the onboarding team.

  • Drive cross functional & regional alignment with senior partners across product, operations, coverage & global organizations.

  • Ensure cost management targets are delivered through tight budgetary discipline & maximisation of lower cost locations, automation & outsourced providers.

  • Leverage best practices, operating models & synergies to ensure consistent client execution & heightened integration & cooperation across the organization.

  • Maintain disciplined & uniform application of structured project management methodologies within the cards team, ensuring effective project control, proactive risk identification & remediation and seamless delivery to plan.

  • Ensure strict adherence to defined quality standards & practices outlined in “best practices” collateral. Each team member should consistently achieve “excellent” rating in scheduled quality reviews.

  • Effective maintenance & communication of MIS and project metrics. Provide on-going senior management & stakeholder updates on programs.

  • Lead participation in talent forums, survey processes, VOE, etc.

  • Ensure 100% effective MCA results & support all audit protocols as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Card product knowledge

  • Proven track record in executing complex organisational change management programs.

  • Strategic perspective – record of defining & executing organisational strategy.

  • Project management/treasury background & professional certification (ie, PMI, PRINCE2, ICM).

  • Leadership & motivational skills – proven record of developing & leading teams.

  • Results orientated.

  • Commercial awareness – clear understanding of how Citi achieves financial targets & where the TTS & specifically cards businesses contribute.

  • Strong communication skills (internal & external).

  • Negotiation, decision making & problem solving skills.

  • Experience operating at a senior (regional/global) management levels.

  • Strong risk management orientation.
