Job Purpose:

To design and drive the work of a new Strategic Contract Digitisation (SCD) team within ICG Risk & Control created to:

Identify work (planned, completed or ongoing) related to contract digitisation including:

  • Digitisation of contracts
  • Supporting systems/processes related to digitised contracts

Design and roll out a governance framework to maintain visibility of such work going forward

Identify strategic opportunities to mature Citi’s approach to contract digitisation

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & scope project delivery into phases and approach
  • Define deliverables aligned with overall project objectives
  • Presentation/interviewing various key stakeholders and document analysis to identify contract digitisation work and inform drafting of key deliverables
  • Definition and roll out of an effective/efficient SCD governance framework
  • Business case drafting for enhancements to the banks planned book of work related to contracts
  • Ensure key deliverables are met and are at a standard suitable for consumption by senior management
  • Manage key issues, risks, dependencies
  • Design and deliver project reporting

Development Value:

  • This role is vital in evolving the strategic approach (and ultimately delivering critical improvements) to Citi’s global contracting framework to ensure best business practice and futureproofing against contract-related challenges.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Contract digitisation – translating contracts into digital formats for risk, regulatory and operational purposes
  • Financial markets product and contracts knowledge
  • Systems/processes/tools that support or leverage contract digitisation
  • Large scale contract remediation programmes (e.g. LIBOR, BREXIT, UMR etc.)
  • Legal qualifications an advantage but not essential

Skills:

  • End-to-end project/programme management
  • Presentation and interview
  • Gap and cross-project efficiencies analysis
  • Report drafting
  • Governance framework design and implementation
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Business case drafting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in delivering strategic programs in a global banking environment with a focus on contracts.
