We are seeking a creative and energised individual who is adept at managing the full gamut of marketing and communications verticals, while exercising personal leadership and fostering strong working partnerships with our internal marketing partners.

The role would see this individual working closely with the Treasury and Trade Solutions (‘TTS’) marketing team, as we jointly develop and manage marketing initiatives that would offer our Corporate clients a singular and superior Citi client experience.

This role would be ideal for self-starters who are keen on shaping the brand and marketing narrative for our global business and they can expect latitude in their scope of work. The role includes the development of our Brand and Marketing strategy, along with the production of content, sales collateral, the use of new digital channels, leveraging media, social media, advertising, awards, polls, internal communications and client event management.

Corporate Sales and Solutions is Citi Markets’ sales distribution arm for Citi’s Corporate clients. We operate in over 100 countries globally and serve a broad spectrum of Corporates, from multinationals to fast-growing young companies.


Responsibilities:

Brand Management

  • Ownership and governance of CSS’ brand identity
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission consistently through marketing assets and sales channels
  • Translate brand elements into assets that support our sales and marketing objectives

Channel Management

(a) Citi Velocity for Corporates

  • Working with the Citi Velocity marketing team, develop and implement user acquisition and engagement strategies to promote Citi Velocity for Corporates to our clients
  • Track user engagement and work with CSS content creators to optimise readership

(b) Client Events

  • Centralised governance and oversight for CSS’ client events; ensuring brand elements and client experiences are consistent globally
  • Work closely with Citi internal sales partners (product and coverage) and event management partners to optimise client events and messaging

(c) Press and Media Engagement

  • Working with Citi’s Public Affairs team, identify press and media opportunities for CSS to build our brand presence publicly
  • Communicate and externalise CSS’ successes externally through awards submissions and press engagement
  • Externalise CSS developed content and awards through press engagement social media
  • Maintain CSS repository of accolades and unify communications
  • Define and manage CSS’ social media strategy on Citi’s official channels

Sales and Product Marketing

  • Working with CSS business lines, develop sales and product collaterals and review these regularly for relevance, accuracy and compliance to Citi governance standards.
  • Develop and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Define and manage marketing initiatives to further CSS’ Thought-Leadership narrative

Internal Communications

  • Provide editorial oversight of internal senior communications


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of prior marketing / marketing-related experience in corporate sales, banking and/ or financial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate banking and/ or financial markets products and solutions.
  • A BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or relevant marketing experience.
  • Excellent project management skills.  Highly organized and deadline driven, able to manage executional details, cross-functional and global stakeholders.
  • Must be able to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
  • Possess a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
  • Must have good communication skills to provide clear, detailed creative direction.  Ability to think creatively and use sound judgment when making business decisions.
  • Desire to continually challenge oneself and drive marketing programs to the next level.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
