Global Search Manager - Corporate Functions, SVP (Hybrid Working)
As part of the newly created Executive Talent Acquisition team and acting as a Global Search Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of search activities for executive hiring across Corporate Functions, including, Finance, Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, HR, Legal, Public Affairs, Real Estate and Transformation.
Executive hires are defined as Managing Director and critical leadership Director-level hiring.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed recruiting strategies to meet business needs across our most senior Corporate Functions positions on a global basis.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work in collaboration with a number of our Executive Management team members.
- Serve as a point of contact with Human Resources (HR), Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to effectively onboard executive talent.
- Engage global candidates, maintain knowledge of industry developments and people moves.
- Work with Diversity teams to facilitate interview slate processes as well as promote and manage internal mobility processes.
- Work with talent management on succession planning initiatives for critical roles.
- Provide market and candidate intelligence, that enables hiring decisions to be made.
- Manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and serve as point of contact for retained search firms as appropriate.
- Build pools of talent for Corporate Function disciplines, making use of networking and database tools to manage this talent.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant search experience.
- Network and knowledge of the C suite market across Corporate Functions, ideally within the financial services environment.
- Experience of engaging with, influencing and presenting to board and senior leadership stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of compensation structures
- Demonstrated ability to craft complex offers
- Ability to consistently identify and attract passive candidates.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
