Enterprise Architecture (EA) organization is seeking an experienced Governance Manager to join the Governance and Program Management Team. The candidate will be responsible for the oversight of application of EA’s methodology across the enterprise, with a focus on building out and maintaining the technology asset roadmap.  The individual will report directly to the EA Global Governance Manager and will be based in London or Belfast.  

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Enterprise Architecture methodologies (predominantly Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM)) and areas of application across the enterprise
  • Oversight of CEAM application across the enterprise for consistency.  Work with respective organizations / groups to address identified inconsistencies.
  • Perform quality control checks across CEAM artifacts and resolve identified gaps.
  • Define, develop and maintain the governance over the enterprise technology methodology and approach that align to strategic business priorities
  • Develop and execute strategy to manage the technology roadmap to targets
  • Monitor new assets for alignment with technology roadmap strategies and goals
  • Responsible for the regular escalation and analysis for senior management
  • Coordinate consistency in reporting
  • Identify opportunities to further improving associated processes with the enterprise and / or specifically the technology roadmap governance process

Qualifications:

  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • 10+ years of service in a fast-paced financial services firm with experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
  • 10+ years managing product roadmaps and communicating decisions to leadership
  • 5+ years as a Governance Manager
  • Good understanding of technology processes
  • 10+ years of hands-on execution experience prioritizing complex product roadmaps
  • Analytical thinking with experience in analyzing data using various tools to express ideas and create actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressures 
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with business and global functions colleagues
  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations
  • Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving and root cause identification skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude and capable of managing internal relationships
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management, leading meetings with Subject Matter Experts and drive change by thinking out of the box

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
