The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the coordination and administration of client pricing. This also includes contribution to special projects and franchise improvements, and/or addressing regulatory issues in support of commercial governance. The Business Associate provides support to client executives (CEs) and sales with client pricing, invoicing, and fee agreements. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pricing and fee agreements – Generate fee agreements/ review with DCC Branches and CEs
  • Monitor billing process and ensure client's fee schedule is correctly implemented
  • Work with billing to ensure new fee agreements are in the system.  Revise invoices and approve
  • Maintain and update pricing and deal review procedures
  • Governance and tracking of key client implementations and transformation projects
  • Develop ad hoc financial analysis when needed
  • Track key client metrics (AUC, TXN and others per client)
  • Coordinate deal review process for DCC, manage deal pricing, pipeline deals, global and regional deal reviews, P&L analysis, create fee agreements, Ad-hoc deal analysis and investigations, approving Client Insight deals
  • Work with businesses in the execution of improvement strategies, coordinating and taking active part in the implementation process.
  • Support aspects of client service, including client experience metrics in partnership with operations
  • Develop relationships with senior management in business units and support functions
  • Perform deep dives on businesses improvement strategies and opportunities; develop financials ROI of new initiatives
  • Gain broad understanding of DCC business and develop presentations for senior management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas
  • Experience with databases and information management
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Strong opinions on risk, governance and control best practice, with the ability to defend them if need be
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams from Coverage, Legal, Credit, IT, Finance and Operations and be able to drive projects or issue resolution from definition to completion
  • Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound risk and business judgment with commercial acumen – ability to weigh risk with commercial objectives
  • Able to communicate with all levels of the business effectively, often on complex topics with the right level of detail
  • Effective time management skills essential, along with the ability to self-prioritise work items
