Responsibilities
This is a Business Analyst & Project Management role within the FX Technology Team based in London, working on Trade processing and regulatory reporting platforms with a focus on Hubs & Emerging markets business for products: FX, FX Fwds/Swaps, NDFs IR Swaps, Bonds and IR derivatives.
We are looking to hire a senior resource with a FX & Rates background to work with the business and technology teams, and project manage the requirements collection, design and delivery of various projects for the FXLM business.
Key Responsibilities:
Close interaction with Traders, Business managers and technology partners to understand new requirements for applications across the Trade processing workflow.
Clearly document requirements, roadmap to delivery and also actively participate in solution design.
Project Manage delivery of large scale projects by working with various stakeholders (across multiple technology teams and business heads).
Ad-hoc and on-desk support of the production systems (a dedicated 24h support team handles 1st line).
Knowledge/Experience:
Knowledge of:
Foreign Exchange products: Spots, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs etc.
Fixed Income & Money Markets: Bonds, Bills, Time Deposits, Loans etc.
Derivatives: FRA, Futures, IRS etc.
Risk Management aspects: on P & L, Risk management, PAA etc.
Post Trade functions: Allocations, Aggregations, Drawn downs, Terminations, Fee handling, Rollovers etc.
Knowledge of Emerging Markets and their peculiarities, nuances is a must.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
Excellent project management capabilities. Demonstrate expertise on delivering medium-large global projects to traders without time/cost overruns.
PMP or equivalent relevant project management certification preferable.
Recent experience in FXLM trading teams with business & technology.
Skills:
Quantitative understanding of the FXLM or G10 Sales and trading business or related areas.
Expert Excel skills with VBA preferred.
Intermediate/Expert on financial market calculations (e.g. FX, interest rates, NPV, Bond Pricing etc.)
Intermediate/Expert on Agile development platforms. Conversant with the development lifecycle and tools used (e.g. JIRA, Kanban, Scrum boards etc.)
