Role Overview:

The EMEA Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) team is responsible for ensuring Citi complies with the recovery and resolution requirements and that we apply this consistently across the EMEA region. There has been a significant increase in recovery and resolution requirements over the last few years due to the EU Banking Recovery and Resolution Directive, the UK Resolvability Assessment Framework and Trading Activity Wind Down, and more detailed guidance from the US regulators

This is an exciting and challenging new role requiring the establishment of efficient operating practice and networks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the EMEA RRP Office and liaise with key RRP stakeholders across the functions and businesses to ensure RRP objectives are met

  • Help formulate the end state vision for TWD

  • Drive improvements and automation of the TWD process  

  • Ensure best practices are implemented from a Controls perspective (GRC, GRRT)

  • Liaise with the International Team in the US and UK Risk colleagues

  • Participate in global and regional initiatives as appropriate

  • Keep up to date with current and new RRP regulations.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Candidates should currently be working within a finance-orientated role

  • Good understanding of the financial markets especially Derivatives

  • Working with multiple stakeholders

  • Demonstrated strength in financial analysis

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel

  • An analytical & questioning mindset, ability to innovate and relate data to business strategy

  • Accuracy, attention to detail

  • Organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritise across multiple deliverables

  • Strong communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy

  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude

  • Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to work proactively without close supervision and support the dynamics of a flexible working team

  • Strong financial background with ACA qualification or equivalent

  • Familiarity with Financial Services Industry and/or related business products would be desirable but not essential.
