At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when.
Citi is looking for talented students to launch a diversity program to promote women incursion, participation and growth in Finance careers through social innovation.
Joining the Financial Planning & Analysis team at the Costa Rica Analytical Center will give you the opportunity to learn and build a career in the banking business while improving your quantitative and analytical skills by tackling challenges in a dynamic environment. By getting hands-on experience and working under a financial analyst and different sector and teams you will be able to understand and follow financial trends.
Your time here will look something like this...
The Young Women & Finance Internship program begins in October with a range of different training sessions providing the students with and overview of Citi in which they will learn about various divisions of the bank and will gain insight into the working environment and understanding of the culture of the business.
This program will also provide mentoring and networking opportunities with financial analysts and Senior Women meetings where they’d host discussions and answer questions about their careers and life experiences. The students will also receive real-world work, and will be expected to add value to their teams during the 7 weeks so they can develop skills required to interact with senior management and staff (for example: managers, senior associates and office staff) in a professional manner as well as gain working knowledge about different financial policies (i.e. credit, receivables, treasury and inventory policies of the company and the administration of all of them) and internal and external financial reporting procedure used by the company.
The program concludes with the presentation of their accomplishments and lessons learned to the FP&A Senior Lead team and eventually top performing students could be considered for a full time entry level financial analyst role if required by the unit.
