The Intern is an entry level position at Citi where the student will receive a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Interns are administrative and use this position as a start to their career. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in any of the four core functions at Citi: Global Functions, Institutional Clients Group, Global Consumer Banking, Enterprise O&T


  • Learn internal procedures and local regulation related to the organization department, in which the internship takes place.
  • Familiarize with working processes of other organization departments.
  • Prepare statements and payment orders in LCY and FCY as per clients’ requests.
  • Prepare notifications on clients’ open and closed accounts.
  • Scan and archive documents of organization department, in which the internship takes place.
  • Perform keeping, accounting and giving out to clients of cards and PIN-envelopes.
  • Carry out the responsibilities according to the functions of organization department, in which the internship takes place.
  • If necessary, participate in the projects implementation in the organization department, in which the internship takes place.
  • Adhere to corporate culture standards when communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Keep to the labor discipline in accordance with internal instructions, policies and other administrative documents.
  • Carry out any other responsibilities and orders related to the functions of organizational department in which the internship takes place.
  • Ensure the implementation, execution of and follow-up control over the subordinated to him department activity on internal control procedures and policies of the Bank and on the implemented internal controls
  • Pass internal trainings timely and accurately
  • Distribute documents to clients` folders


  • GPA of 3.3 or above
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives
  • Innovative and creative in solving problems
  • Quick thinking and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task


  • Graduating with a Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience or master degree the following year
