Talent Acquisition – Lead Generator position is responsible for ensuring optimal candidate slate is made available through sourcing, prescreening of the candidate pool, building a talent pipeline and supporting delivery of recruitment process in coordination with the recruiters in the Talent Acquisition team.

The overall objective of this specialist role is to participate in initial recruitment initiatives in support of the overall strategy for the CSC business. In Malaysia, Citi Service Center (CSC) business has an employee population of ~3000 people across Kuala Lumpur and Penang and houses Anti Money Laundering, Securities Services Operations, Fraud & KYC operations & Treasury and Trade Solutions operations.

This role reports into CSC/ Berhad TA lead and is based out of Kuala Lumpur.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers and recruiters to translate business strategies and hiring requirements into end-to-end sourcing and talent pipeline solutions, including diversity, local talent.  
  • Design and deliver a funnel management strategy aimed to deliver the most qualified, screened candidates to the recruiter in an efficient a manner as is possible. 
    • Attract and source applicants based on hiring intake
    • Screen resumes to provide qualified candidates to hiring managers and recruiters.
    • Engage with candidates to ascertain fitment, interest in role and communication capability
  • Meet key performance metrics with regards sourcing activities and candidate slates. Provide analytics when required. 
  • Pipeline: Effectively track and maintain candidate database through Avature and Workday ATS for repeat roles
  • Partner with recruiter to segment sourcing and screening activities using a variety of sourcing channels to an optimal level: including internal employees, external employees, alumni, employee referral programs, recruitment agencies, LinkedIn licenses, job boards, social media and professional networks
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, as required
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of relevant recruitment experience; Experience in Banking/ Financial services is a plus
  • Knowledge of sourcing and direct hiring is advantage/ Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
  • Ability to source talent from the market through professional network, social media channels, job board and other networking activities
  • Ability to prioritize and work collaboratively with recruiters, hiring managers and prospective candidates in a manner that enhances the Citi brand
  • MS Excel proficiency, Experience with CRM such as Avature will be highly regarded as well as an understanding of utilizing AI tools in this space
  • Fluent in English, with good communication skills to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
