the fund accounting senior analyst is responsible for a range of fund accounting and valuations activity, ensuring compliance with operating procedures, policies and guidelines and timely completion of accurate Net Asset Valuations.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in fund accounting with proven fund accounting skills, and the ability to ensure all deliverables within the Service Level Agreements are met. They will have a strong “hands on” operational focus and is expected to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in operational delivery.


¨Perform a reviewer role in the daily NAV production

¨Review exceptions raised and resolve up to those applicable to role responsibility. Escalating those not applicable timely to supervisor

¨Development of strong client relationships, resolving client queries timely and accurately

¨Proactively manage SLAs / KPIs (escalating any issues internally / externally as required)

¨Championing a culture of collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of client requirements

¨Owning and taking responsibility for issues and resolution to closure

¨Monitor errors, complaints and near misses. Record as appropriate in the Incident log

¨Ensure documentation exists for any client-specific procedures

¨Act as technical and knowledge resource to the team/business unit

¨Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products

¨Support projects to optimize operational efficiency and improve quality

¨Assist with planning and support of all relevant project work

¨Set and maintain standards of personal and professional performance / behavior; ensuring accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures

¨Deputise for Fund Accounting supervisor as required

¨Coaching and supporting other team members


¨Strong client focus with an ability to evaluate needs and develop solutions

¨Numerical, analytical and problem resolution skills

¨Proven ability to support the introduction of complex change in a challenging environment

¨Team player - able to articulate own position clearly, based on fact, but sensitive to the positions, needs and requirements of others

¨Demonstrate self-development e.g. coaching/mentoring

¨Client relationships

¨Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

¨Highly computer literate - MS Office applications, SQL

¨Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines

¨Project skills with the ability to multi-task

¨Knowledge of Multifonds would be advantageous



¨Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or related field

¨Description of minimum work experience required for this role

¨Minimum 3 years’ experience in Fund Accounting

¨Good (fund accounting) product knowledge is required. This should include understanding of fund structures, financial instruments, regulatory environment and funds industry
