The Fraud Ops Analyst 2 is an intermediate level positions responsible for contributing to the development of fraud management policies, processes and procedures to minimize the impact of fraud in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to manage fraud losses by ensuring analysts make appropriate decisions using risk/reward balanace methodology.


  • Perform complex fraud investigations with minimal supervision
  • Respond to complex fraud investigation requests that may not be covered by established procedures
  • Identify potential fraud, by assessing the validity and applicability of previous/similar experiences and evaluating options in unique situations Resolve highly complex issues directly with internal stakeholders, or third parties.
  • Monitor process workflow and quality and recommend new options to enhance productivity as required
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency


  • 2-4 years of experience in a related role
  • Knowledge and previous experience in the Investigation and Fraud risk management
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Fluent verbal English is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
  • Experience of working in a regional or global function especially with APAC and EMEA is a plus


  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

The role is based in Malaysia but providing analytical service to Citi APAC and EMEA. Organizing or participating in evening global conference call is frequently required.
