MYS CTSM KL Fund Accounting Lead Analyst - Vice President

Locations: Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur Job Function: Operations - Transaction Services Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 19138585

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full programme of work and the associated governance and reporting requirements for the client and internal stakeholders, client’s expectation and issue management
  • Ensure a robust change governance structure is built and managed across multiple regional sites. 
  • Lead discussions and deliver on key items within improvement and service excellence initiatives undertaken by the client change management team
  • This role provides the opportunity to manage a client and their programme of change work.
  • This role ensures significant time interacting with all APAC fund accounting sites senior managers and stakeholders.
  • This role is pivotal to the success of change delivery and offers the opportunity to help shape and manage the change processes.
  • Identify opportunities to implement process improvements and recommend system, service, and process enhancements including leading and evaluating system testing
  • Maintain inventory of all change requests and status of each.  Provide regular regional reporting
  • Drive /Participate in process deep dive reviews and follow up with respective ops units to ensure timely closure of identified issues. In case of any perceived / potential overdue issues, ensure timely escalation. Ensure appropriate corrective actions are put in place for any observations raised as a part of the reviews breaches

Qualifications and Skillsets:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience with demonstrable change management results
  • Experience in fund accounting
  • Experience in accounting within financial services, strategic management, resource/expense management, and managing client relationships
  • Experience in managing operational delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of funds services and process
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Programme Management Experience
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area
