MYS CTSM KL Change Management Analyst (Transfer Agency)

Locations: Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur Job Function: Operations - Transaction Services Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 20161119

The Change Management Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving global projects with operation team ensuring all completion within the steep target date given by the stakeholders.
  • Updating all stakeholders on the progress of the projects
  • Review process end-to-end and create / update workflow on current existing operations. This includes but not limited to all operation functions, controls and administrative task.
  • Create or update MI reports
  • Aligning operation team with VOE’s initiatives to improve team’s morale and scoring
  • Facilitate client’s due diligence preparation from end-to-end
  • Providing training in creating project charter for all team initiated projects
  • Provide back-up coverage for line manager in regards to project related queries from various department
  • Lead enhancement project for cost saving
  • Assisting line manager in collating data from operations and analyze based on stakeholder’s request.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, computer science, Business Admin and/or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
  • At least 3-5 years experience in relevant field
  • Sound knowledge in TA business, products and workflow
  • Knowledge of operations for various kinds of funds including but not limited to Hedge funds, Mutual funds, REITs and ABS
  • Detailed knowledge of business processes and procedures as well as service and systems (including downstream impacts)
  • Candidate should be flexible ready to work in different shifts
  • Excellent technical skills in using Microsoft Office

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, computer science, Business Admin and/or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
