As an Investments and Insurance Sales Surveillance Senior Business Analyst, you are responsible to deliver all technology related scope including data analysis, manage data loading and enrichment process, discuss with the supporting countries to review rule / extraction logic to identify the required data elements to satisfy business requirements, perform data analysis & trending, work closely with technology teams to deliver digital solutions for business within the target timeline, perform User Acceptance Test (UAT), prepare reports / logs / documents etc.


  • Responsible to manage multiple stakeholders to automate manual processes and provide a digital solution. The candidate will require to understand the business process (Wealth Management Products for Investment, Insurance and FX etc.) and data sources to provide business requirement to technology team. The candidate will expect to perform UAT and PAT.
  • Perform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflow. This process will involve review and understand data elements, manage raw data source files, convert raw data source files to system input files (predefined system format)
  • Responsible to identify data source issues if any and proactively work with business units and technology teams to ensure no impact to the business operations
  • Interpret data and results, Perform Trend analysis and surveillance reports for management reporting
  • Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Apply project management to assist operational projects as assigned
  • Resolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertise
  • Provide guidance and training to new and lower level team members, as needed
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • Mandatory: Strong in SQL, understand database tables structure and data elements, experience in automate manual processes
  • Preferred: VBA, EAP Big Data, Project, and change management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High level knowledge of related to industry standards and practices
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferable in IT / Computer Science Domain)
