Credit Maintenance Senior Supervisor
The Credit Maintenance Senior Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to capture and record data on credit exposures, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to lead data quality efforts, analyze and report credit exposure, escalate deficiencies and recommend delinquent strategies in alignment with overall credit policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Credit Operations professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
- Resolve problems and discrepancies within the approval guidelines using technical experience acquired and precedents
- Guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of client documentation and information recorded within computerized systems
- Interpret procedures and policies and apply them to guide assistance personnel in solving complex problems
- Make evaluative decisions to solve problems based on the analysis of factual information
- Comment on personnel requirements necessary to meet operational needs
- Act as a backup manager
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in related position required
- Experience in personnel administration required
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Citi has reached an agreement with UOB Group for the acquisition of our Consumer Banking business in Malaysia. The completion of the acquisition is subject to local regulatory approvals.
As this is a role to work in Citi’s consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi and in due course, UOB will be extending an employment offer to the incumbent of this role to continue employment with UOB upon completion of the acquisition.
