Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable to achieve retail brokerage business commitment, both financially and on control perspective
  • Implement business strategy and manage the execution to drive the growth of the Bank’s equities business.
  • Manage and have oversight on all stock system enhancements projects, including securing all external and internal (local, regional & global) approvals before any change rolls out.
  • Drive new product development initiatives and digital enhancement to build competitive edges and differentiate from competitors, including introducing new partnership which can expand business market share
  • Manage product team members and also stock dealing team, ensure all activities are carried out under robust monitoring & strict compliance
  • Collaborate with regional & local stakeholders with internal stakeholders to gain support for execution of daily & new business initiatives

Qualifications:

  • University degree holder, preferably in Business Management, Finance or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in banking industry, preferably in investment or equities products management, of which at least 3 years in people management role
  • Solid knowledge in stock market products, market practices and trends, exchanges rules as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Strong sense of business ownership and accountability
  • Acute business sense
  • Able to work under pressure and diversified tasking
  • Hands-on project management experience in system platform development is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in managing and driving the growth of consumer banking or investment products
  • Possess can-do attitude and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem solving skills required.
  • Possess HKMA / SFC Type 1 & 4 license is preferred
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
