Job Background/Context:

Treasury and Trade Solutions (“TTS”) is a key product group within Institutional Client Group (ICG) which supports clients from all sectors including Global Subsidiaries Group, TTLC, Public Sector, Financial Institutions and Commercial Banking.  We have a comprehensive set of digital and innovative solutions ranging from payments, collections, cards, liquidity management, channels, trade services, trade finance to structured supply chain financing. 

We are looking for a seasoned TTS Solution Sales for ICG Corporate Sector focusing on growing revenue of assigned client portfolio, deal origination, cross selling and new client acquisition.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow assigned client portfolio, and acquire new clients through working closely with all relevant internal partners;
  • Build strong relationship with client buying centers, drive ongoing client engagements including thought leadership and idea sharing with an aim to originate new business and cross sell opportunities, deepen TTS share of wallets and grow revenue;
  • Work closely with Products and Banking partners in country, regional and across the network for deal solutioning, sales pitches and client engagements;
  • Trusted advisor for the TTS solutions provided to clients and be responsible for overall client satisfaction;
  • Responsible for growing the TTS P&L of clients and oversee the sales process from origination to revenue realization for assigned clients and won deals;
  • Manage and drive the deal team and work closely with Banking, TTS Product, Client Delivery and O&T to achieve objectives;
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of newly acquired clients and delivery of all mandated TTS solutions by working closely with the Implementation Managers and Banking teams, and provide necessary supports throughout the processes;
  • Lead and/or support all kinds of client events and sales initiatives and proactively promote TTS business among all internal and external clients;
  • Ensure consistent, professional delivery of all client management disciplines including: account planning, call reports, lead generation, pipeline management, implementation acceleration, plus TTS relationship reviews;
  • Identify client goals & financial needs that can be addressed through the TTS platform;
  • Identify opportunities for new deals across TTS product sets and geographies including multi-product requirements;
  • Keep abreast of market and competitive intelligence and proactively engage clients by providing consultative advices and sharing of value propositions and best practices, leveraging on all available sales tools, content portals, analytics and the Citi network;
  • Manage and drive the global / regional teams for each client relationship;
  • Champion multi-product and/or cross-regional solutions and pricing through the deal review process;
  • Respond to client escalation for operational/customer service issues, including complex or cross-geography issues;
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics;
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation;
  • Performance will be measured against goals on portfolio/product revenue growth, deal origination, new sales wins and client acquisition, as well as all relevant business KPIs and qualitative goals assigned by TTS management.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong experience in sales and/or relationship management roles covering large multinational and top tiered corporates with international banks;
  • Demonstrate in-depth and broad product expertise on cash management, trade, liquidity management and channel solutions;
  • Possess an innovative mindset and strong knowledge in complex structured trade and supply chain finance solutions;
  • Able to build rapport and relationship with clients at both senior and operations levels, and share thought leadership and advisory with senior client contacts such local CFOs, Treasurers and Finance/Treasury Directors;
  • Proven knowledge of industry sectors, financial markets, banking industry and relevant regulations;
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese with strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office;
  • Dynamic, resilient, team worker and a strong determination to succeed;
  • Confident, motivated, self-driven and result-oriented personality.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree at a minimum, Master’s degree preferred
