Responsibilities
The Client Reporting Tech Lead is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Client Reporting Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting internal websites, reporting framework and services globally.
- Production of high-quality software, emphasizing simplicity, maintainability and reuse, using standard development process;
- Identifies improvement opportunities in architecture design and continues to make application technology wise forward looking
- Understands business priorities, documents requirements and determines solutions in partnership with other internal teams.
- Adopts agile methodology, prioritize and deliver changes for Operations and Business partners.
- Act as an agile coach/servant leader and lead scrum teams.
- Provide business as usual (BAU) coverage for CPB Client Reporting, including compiling ad-hoc sql reports and covering general support queries.
- Solves / works complex problems / projects through in-depth evaluation of business processes, system processes and industry standards; performs root cause analyses.
- Applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate within apps development to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
- Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication skills to exchange complex information.
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
- Strong Experience in Java/J2EE, in particular web services (JAX, REST, Avro) implementations, and well versed with 3-tier architecture /component layer architecture.
- Strong Experience with Java-RDBMS (Oracle) development.
- Knowledge of operating Systems – Linux/Unix (SUN/IBM), Windows.
- Strong Experience with Application servers, web servers - WebLogic, WebSphere.
- Awareness of frameworks – Springs, Spring Boot, Spring JPA.
- Awareness of OOAD, UML and design Patterns.
- Experience with Reporting tools (ISIS Papyrus, O2MS or Quadient Inspire).
- Experience in Client Reporting, Statements, Performance reporting.
- Awareness of Time weighted Return calculation methodology, Internal Rate of Return calculation methodology is an advantage.
- Experience in delivery and leading motivated Agile team.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
