Position Summary/Overall Purpose of the Job:

  • The strategic intent of this role is to ensure the successful execution of operational processes in line with business objective and desired customer experience. The incumbent will drive the successful execution of responsible process through stakeholder and vendor partnerships that may be onshore or offshore, internal or external. Key areas of focus are the delivery of KPI’s, execution quality, exception management, continuous improvement and execution of stakeholder initiatives

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for managing the TTS CO (Client Ops) Indonesia team
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders, including Coverage and Product to align strategic direction for the Operations teams
  • Drive continuous process improvements and efficiencies through improved process flows, minimize the manual touch points, and improve the customer experience
  • Drive the regulatory and operational risk control environment for TTS Operations in collaboration with Compliance
  • Governance and managing offshore relationships, drive monthly service calls in addition to daily/monthly reporting
  • Accountable for of key operational processes for Cash and Trade operations, understanding the end to end process including required controls
  • Responsible for ensuring the business unit is appropriately qualified, adequately trained and maintains its competence
  • Responsible for the quarterly MCA (Risk and Compliance) Testing, self-raising items related to Risk and Controls by actively participating in TTS Risk Management Committee (RMC)
  • Manage key process drivers – costs, volumes, handoffs, service level agreements, customer service standards and incident management
  • Proactively monitor volumes and service standards and take action to reduce costs, improve quality and the overall customer experience
  • Provide direction and subject matter expertise on changes to processes resulting from new business initiatives, regulatory or compliance-required changes. Engage relevant stakeholders involved in the execution or oversight of processes to ensure changes are successfully implemented and appropriately documented
  • Share knowledge, seek out industry “best practice” ideas and foster a supportive and diverse working environment
  • Adhere to all applicable requirements established by Citi to ensure they are fully committed to its AML/CTF and/or sanctions compliance responsibilities as set out in the relevant Citi Global, Regional and/or Australian AML/CTF and/or Sanctions Policies, Procedures, Standards, Directives and Programs
  • To ensure excellent rapport with internal stakeholders including peers and seniors and duly provide inputs to the team and ensure timely resolution of all issues, wherever there are business risks and the issues need to get addressed such cases should be raised to the senior’s forum for appropriate action and advice

Qualifications


Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years banking operations experience inclusive of managing/interaction with teams
  • Detailed understanding of Indonesia Banking Cash Processes, Service and Controls would be an advantage
  • Understanding of operational process and their relationships across the organization both onshore and offshore
  • Knowledge of Citibank products, policies, and procedure
  • Project Management skills and Digital mindset
  • Leadership, team management, developing and mentoring
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management abilities
  • Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning/optimization and process implementation
  • Ability to recognize risks and apply Risk Management techniques to address them via MCA controls or other preventative measures
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical and process improvement capabilities with accomplishment of efficiency gains/cost saving
  • Ability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters established
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior management and/or regulator
  • Able to partner with businesses and other support functions at senior levels in setting strategy and priorities
  • Working knowledge of operations processes in financial services
