The Transaction Svs Sr Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing multiple teams through other managers, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to oversee the end results, budgeting, planning and implementation of the functional strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Treasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc.
  • Open and amend Letters of Credit (L/Cs), process payments and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Manage daily operations for larger Transaction Services unit consisting of multiple teams and supervisors performing related tasks
  • Resolve occasionally complex and varied issues with significant departmental impact
  • Apply in-depth understanding of how areas coordinate within Transaction Service, as well as contribute to the objectives of the entire function
  • Evaluate employee performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations, etc.
  • Oversee delivery of end results and budget management and conduct resource planning
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Senior Level experience in a Transaction Services role preferred
  • Senior level experience in all aspects of Transaction Services including – Treasury and Trade Services, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
