The HR Professional Services is an HR Relationship responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to drive the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Human Resources team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of HR services to the assigned client groups.

Job Description:

  • Working together with HR Advisor and HR COEs to help ensuring the efficient delivery and implementation of HR solutions and employee lifecycle to the assigned client groups
  • Work with People Managers in the assigned client group to facilitate the effective execution of HR processes.   In many cases, this will involve providing remote HR support using video conference and conference call facilities, with some face-to-face meetings if needed
  • In partnership with Employee Relations, work with managers to address employee issues (including under performance, grievances, disciplinary, etc.)  ensuring appropriate advice is given and actions in place, risks are assessed and understood
  • Counsel employees on personal and work related issues that affect performance and foster policy understanding e.g. performance capability, individual consultations, etc.
  • Work closely with HR Shared Services (HRSS) and provide approvals to key transactions, as required
  • Manage employee life cycle HR related transactions (new hires, leave, employee mobility, transfers, terminations, leave, etc.)
  • Support headcount/FTE, incentive planning and other projects as necessary

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner / Generalist or progressively experience in Human Resources with exposure to and demonstrated competence in diverse functional areas
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong client focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
  • Coaching skills and ability to coach managers on a variety of HR topics / influencing skills and ability is desired
  • Excellent collaboration skills enabling effective working across the matrix environment and other functional partners
  • Solutions-focused, able to sort through information and develop concise and clear solutions quickly
  • Detail oriented with a logical and methodological approach to problem solving
  • Strong in MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
