This role is a key part of the Accountability, Culture and Talent Transformation team and its mission to bring about a fundamental reset of Citi’s Culture and Talent model to strengthen risk management and controls in order to ultimately achieve organizational excellence.  Reporting to the ACT Program Director, you will be part of a team of project analysts dedicated to support Program Managers across each of the key ACT Initiatives to drive forward work in transforming HR and Decision-making processes, executing robust procedures to support reporting of progress to all key stakeholders, management of interdependencies with the broader transformation programme and resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Initiative Program Managers in area of program expertise to:
    • Support execution plans to meet deliverables critical to the Transformation Initiative
    • Support the monitoring of the performance of multiple programs of work
    • Support the implementation of common PMO standards, reporting, and closure process across programs
  • Provide on-the-ground support to the Initiative Director and Program Manager to help execute the planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the Transformation Initiative or portfolio of programs
  • Support the design and execution of change management programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement
  • Create reporting materials to enable stakeholders to understand the program schedule and key milestones.
  • Monitor and track execution of transformation programs within the Initiative and escalate program risks impacting project delivery to the Initiative Director and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the programs
  • Support the identification and resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to action deliverables from reviews of each program’s defined scope, target state, and success criteria to ensure it fully addresses the letter and the spirit of the regulatory feedback, broader supervisory expectations and underlying issues and root causes, and is embedded in a broader strategic vision


  • Previous program/project management, consulting or technology experience preferred with the ability to create and manage large and complex projects using MS Project
  • Specific subject matter expertise regarding transformation, HR, governance and program management disciplines and a sound business understanding of the products and services Citi offers
  • General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve
  • Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at a variety of levels
  • Proficiency in working in iCAPs/Citi’s Risk and Control platform, SharePoint and PTS-W/PTS 2.0 preferred
  • Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests 
  • 5+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree required
  • Project Management Certification a plus
