The Employee and Client Communications Lead is a seasoned professional role and member of the Citi North America Consumer Banking Operations Communications team. This role integrates industry expertise in communications and change management in support of a healthy employee culture and implementation of key business initiatives.

It requires in-depth understanding of how multiple business functions integrate to deliver on the objectives of the broader Operations function. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide and influence others. This role has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of job requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely across the communications function to support strategic and cultural initiatives ensuring effective communication and consistent messaging to all levels of the organization.
  • Write and edit employee communications to deliver consistent messaging.
  • Manage and oversee content and distribution of newsletters as necessary.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management and consulting skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing corporate environment, independently as well as on a team
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite; Adobe design suite preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
