VP / CPMC Program Management Governance Analyst

The Citi Program Management Council (CPMC) is an officially chartered governing body responsible for setting the strategic direction of Program and Project Management Governance at Citi.  The CPMC has the authority to create policy and standards, define roles and responsibilities, monitor process adherence and compliance to policy and standards, drive management reporting and metrics, and assessing the overall PM process adequacy.

Job Purpose:

This role supports the CPMC Program Management Governance Manager and Program Management Governance Lead with the implementation of the Project Management (PM) strategy.  This is a key role for the CPMC. The CPMC Program Management Governance Analyst is a role which requires policy and standards experience, a detailed knowledge of Project Management and one that requires hands on leadership and influence of the CPMC team and extended team throughout Citi. 

This position reports to the Head of PM Governance and Capabilities within the Global Program Management Office (GPMO).


Responsibilities:

• Supports the authoring of the PM Policy, Citi PM Standard and working with Technology, the CSDLC an CSTLC

• Supports monitoring process adherence and compliance to policy and standards through review of local procedures and ongoing requested changes and interpretations.

•Contributes to ensuring CPMC is be a strong, transparent and well governed organization through supporting key governance and communications meeting of the CPMC Governing and Leadership teams

•Participate in and recommend solutions for a variety of broad based and complex Project Management issues for Citi such as; executive reporting, initiative management and PM framework implementation

•Partner with senior businesses and global functions executives to yield solid solutions

•Contribute to the PM Capabilities, Tools and EPQA agenda.  Provide an active Collaborate presence to the PM Network

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years’ experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
  • Strong background in project or program management. PM certification is preferred
  • Ability to interact with senior management and excellent communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
