This role will be part of the In-Business Operational Risk & Control (IBORC) Organization supporting Enterprise Operations & Technology (EO&T). The role will ensure EO&T’s adherence with the New Activity Policy (the Policy), which establishes the governing provisions for the review, approval and ongoing oversight of new activities at Citi.  Additionally, this person will be responsible for coordinating New Activity communication within IBORC and ensuring consistency with front-line Citi businesses and Operations groups.  This individual will be responsible for ongoing reporting to senior leadership of the status of key initiatives within the organization with heightened risk.

This person will need to collaborate and influence have to work through many others in the organization to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the EO&T Regulation W Specialist to partner with EO&T and represent EO&T in Citi-wide New Product Approval governance processes.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Build strong internal EO&T and external Citi business unit relationships.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and effective written, verbal and visual communicator.

  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple deliverables and highly organized

  • Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and flexibility

  • Intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and creativity

  • Quick learner with an ability to master new subject matter and digest complex regulatory topics

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: BS/BA degree, or equivalent experience required.  

  • Minimum 10 years of experience –experience and familiarity with New Activity/New Product and operational processes, preferably within the first-line, within a Finance Institution is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Familiarity with a large and complex global organization is a plus.

  • Knowledge of US banking laws including Regulation W (Transactions with Affiliates) and other core regulatory concepts is a plus
