The Pricing Communications Product Strategy & Plan Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within Credit Card industry and contributes to directional strategy of Pricing and Statement Operations function. Strong written and verbal communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others within own team and on cross-functional basis. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

The Pricing and Statement Operations team within Citi Branded Cards is responsible for the end to end management and communication of the pricing terms. As a Pricing Communications Product Strategy & Planning Lead this role is responsible to:

  • Manage customer-facing pricing disclosures and communications across the card lifecycle.
  • Define pricing-related strategies for projects and related communication
  • Effectively define clear business requirements in support of pricing strategies
  • Facilitate development of the pricing disclosures/communications through close coordination between Product, Legal and Compliance partners
  • Drives end results of the project as a representative of the business
  • Define detailed, organized definition and criteria for Systems to utilize in order to deliver accurate, account-specific pricing disclosures/communications across all channels/points in the card lifecycle
  • Partner with Systems and Pricing and Technology testing teams to define test plans and participate in testing efforts to ensure accuracy of all pricing materials before approval to implement is provided
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain on-going review of pricing disclosures across the card lifecycle
  • Manage and resolve any pricing-related issue or concern identified as part of on-going reviews.
  • Possesses the knowledge, skills and experience to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming
  • Communicates to all concerned parties project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues
  • Proactively follows escalation and change control processes
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
  • Ability to direct/manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to take calculated risks in rapidly changing environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, contingency planning and management skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, influence, negotiation & organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
