The Digital Learning Project Manager will report into the Digital Learning and Talent team and will support the onboarding of new and existing technology into the Citi learning and talent ecosystem.  This role is a project manager for learning systems, who will work closely with Technology partners our Shared Services team for end to end onboarding or new and existing tools.  The onboarding requires working with business partners to analyze and understand requirements and supporting our technical partners as this is approved through Citi security, architecture, data privacy and other processes.  This position will play a key role in working closely with stakeholders to prioritize the digital learning tools and roadmap. Vendor management will also be a key component of this role as this person will work closely with vendors to lead them through the onboarding process.   Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and support our direction and decisions. The Project Manager will provide advice and counsel related to the technology and operations of the business.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple technology projects at the same time including creation of project plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central project issue log.
  • Identify key stakeholders who will participate in project scope definition and identify, document, and understand project dependencies
  • Assesses project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur
  • Applies a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project progress against project goals
  • Partners closely with the Operations / Shared Services and Technology teams to define project scope and objectives through to implementation
  • Works closely with business partners to define and document requirements for the technology solution including integrations within our learning ecosystem
  • Consults with business partners to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Promotes good working relationships across projects, exemplifying the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among stakeholders: its sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and project team members
  • Contributes in defining the product roadmap for learning systems and driving enhancements through vendor relationships
  • Configures our learning systems to achieve the desired outcome while managing new features and capabilities
  • Owns all management reports on a given engagement


  • 5 years of project management experience with the ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals preferred
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including strong consulting and relationship building skills
  • Awareness of onboarding requirements (information security, architecture review, cross border data privacy, etc.)
  • Awareness of risk management process
  • Proficient with Agile Scrum and waterfall methodologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor content to audiences across clients, development team, and management
  • Proficient in presentation tools and diagraming tools (like Visio)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Experience working with learning systems a plus
