Citi Global Wealth (CGW) is an integration of Citi Private Bank and the Consumer Wealth organization into a single platform enabling Citi to serve its clients across the wealth spectrum and capitalize on Citi’s industry leading capabilities to support the goal of CGW, which is to be the leading wealth management provider globally. Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Wealth Workflow Transformation Lead, Workflow Intake Lead is responsible for working closely with the Citi Private Bank Lines of Businesses (LOBs) in establishing and executing the roadmap for business process workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and define roadmap for the workflow transformation program

  • Foster communication between business leaders and IT

  • Consult with stakeholders to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions

  • Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information

  • Consult with business clients to determine business roadmap for transformation and end to end accountability from planning to delivery for the workflow transformation of the line of business

  • Work with product owner and tech stakeholders to create program backlog and prioritize and create roadmap for the transformation

  • Create high level statement of work and share with stakeholders to enable sizing, forecast and planning. Stakeholders include Business, Development, Testing / UAT and deployment partners.

  •  Come up with creative solutioning especially when needed to mitigate scope and capacity risks

  • Providing vision, strategic leadership and operational direction to workflow implementation.  

  •  Building an Agile/Adaptive culture/team, managing workflow transformation projects with evolving         requirements but fixed timescales.

  • Collaborate with Senior Management on cross functional areas and other programs, as appropriate.

  •  Providing a disruptive, forward-looking mindset, challenging the status quo, articulating, communicating and inspiring various levels of management to achieve an aggressive technological transformational agenda.

  • Act as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts and work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Organizational Scope and Accountability:

  • Client Franchise: Strong interaction with Business and tech teams. Represent CGW on key Senior Management forums at Regional and Global levels, Performance meetings and Business/Product/cluster reviews in conjunction with the Finance Planning units.

  • Incumbent will provide vision, leadership and direction for Strategy initiatives; and drive organizational effectiveness, global optimizations, and superior products / services within an environment of continuous learning & growth.

  • Champion an inclusive and diverse global mindset in order to attract a deep and diverse talent pool within the organization that includes effective coaching and development.

  • Ultimate accountability for management of business value outcomes (revenue, cost and services) and delivery provided to CGW. This includes driving excellence in delivery, risk mitigation, compliance, financial commitments, and talent management.

  • Evaluate opportunities and enable measurable improvements quickly and best utilize resources, while building an automation roadmap that matches strategy and direction.

  • Establish and maintain a high performing, open culture based on integrity and strong partnership and financial responsibility.

  • Develop a strong functional SME team which is working closely with sub functions within CGW in the regional and country teams

  • Maintain strong relationships with senior business partners, control organizations, other technology functions, and external regulators and vendors.

  • Manage release management, beta testing, gradual customer rollout and track feature adoption in the markets

  • Strong communication skills, ability to chair senior dialogue in high-pressured environment, attention to detail, ability to identify risks and manage escalation appropriately within the organization.

  • Good negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of progressive senior technology leadership experience leading transformational technology efforts, ideally in the financial sector or mid-size Fintech companies.

  • Knowledge of PEGA / workflow transformation implementation is a must.

  • Having prior digital transformation leadership experience is a nice to have.
