The Risk Reporting Officer(VP - Reporting and Analytics) is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.


Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. that detail risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas including but not limited to: portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves or high-risk exposures.
Proficient in product processors conversions and have managed a data infrastructure platform with many active users.

Proficient in system knowledge for financial related products. Small Business banking domains preferred.
Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers
Engages with teams across management Reporting to understand current Reporting deliverables.
Conducts process reviews to ensure Reporting processes are efficient and lean.
Understands larger themes across the firm in order to drive standardized views across reporting.
Recognizes what the end-state should be, but executes smaller steps in order to materialize results quickly.
Works with technology to ensure system enhancements are aligned with the needs of management reporting.
Supports management with preparation of materials tracking automation progress.
Trains new team members in standard methodologies and tools.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. 
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. 
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Document processes in an auditable manner


Candidate should have a strong programming background and be highly analytical.  
8-10 years of hands-on SAS/SQL coding experience required.  Highly organized, self-learner able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision and have the ability to manage multiple projects.

Working knowledge of Unix, VBA, Git, Automation using a scheduler and database queries would be required.

Python, Tableau, BigData (hadoop, hive, spark+) would be a plus.
Strong system utilization skills including spreadsheet and mainframe programs. 
Strong ability to interpret analytic results and present/summarize for management review. 
Experience in consumer deposit will be a plus.
Ability to work cross functionally to coordinate various monthly deliverables  
Strong PowerPoint, MIS skills, and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential to communicating results. 

6-10 years of banking related functional domain expertise.
Thorough knowledge of the credit lifecycle and interdependencies a plus


Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
