Citi’s US Consumer Bank (USCB) is undergoing a critical transformation to accelerate growth and digital engagement with its 28M+ credit card customers and 4.5M+ retail customers.  To deliver on this imperative, the US Consumer Bank Leadership team is building an operating model that will enable granular, timely, and contextual customer intelligence driven by always-on campaigns, superior speed to market, and systematized design of experiments.

The US Consumer Analytics (USCA) team collaborates with the lines of business (product) and the marketing, risk, digital delivery, and technology teams to deliver and scale this data-driven vision and strategy.  As such, USCA brings best-in-class analytical sophistication to acquire, engage, and grow customer relationships in a contextual, personalized manner.

This role will be a member of the US Wealth Management Leadership Team and will share goals and accountability with the Head of US Wealth Management Business. This role will use data and analytics to provide insights for the portfolio’s strategy development. The Head of Wealth Management analytics will manage analytics teams in multiple geographical locations to deliver on the business priorities.  This role reports directly to the Director of Existing Customer Decisioning and Retail Bank Analytics.

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Become a critical contributor to the Wealth Management leadership team leveraging advanced analytics to drive alpha
  • Development and implementation of world class analytics to drive Wealth Management Client growth and deliver on financial commitments
  • Build and lead a team of analytical talent to drive the Wealth Analytical agenda
  • Lead development of full suite of analytical tools to deliver: Personalized investment recommendation to both advisors and clients; and Campaign governance embedded in the prioritization engine to create orchestrated daily advisor’s activities
  • Collaborate and influence senior leadership to implement strategies capitalizing on opportunities identified through analytical insights
  • Lead test agenda to continuously learn and drive innovations; build strong cross functional working relationships
  • Be accountable for audit and control requirement; understand regulatory implications and develop mitigation / opportunity strategies.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Financial Services experience, with a deep expertise in the Wealth business, sales force management and data analysis; strong project management skills to lead large
  • Track record of strong interpersonal relationship building skills and ability to communicate complex subjects in concise simple language; exhibit exceptional influencing skills to drive alignment and successful outcome
  • Highly intuitive financial acumen, deep analytical expertise in statistical modeling with a focus on innovation using big data/machine learning and data driven analysis
  • Problem solving skills with a passion to drive analytical innovation.
  • Business expertise required includes in-depth understanding of the Wealth Management business models in the industry
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and able to effectively manage a large team of professionals to drive business growth

Education

  • Technical competency and BA in a highly analytical field
  • Advanced degree in Business or Data Science a plus
  • MBA or leadership training from highly rated program and/or management consulting experience a plus
