Transfer Pricing Senior Lead Analyst

Locations: Irving, Texas Job Function: Finance Employee Status: Regular Job ID: 20196139

The Financial Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst will be a key member of the Inter Affiliate GPO team who are responsible for ensuring Citi's inter-company pricing is on an arm's length basis in compliance with regulatory, OECD and local country tax requirements. 


Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of transfer pricing solutions;
  • Assisting in the Coordination of Inter Affiliate Documentation including US 6662 transfer pricing documentation preparation, OECD Masterfile, local transfer pricing documentation and Country-by-Country Reporting obligations.
  • Supporting regional tax teams with US and Non US Audit support, including IDR responses, research and analysis 
  • Providing subject matter expertise on transfer pricing within Citigroup and supporting Citi's advocacy efforts in relation to Transfer Pricing.
  • Liaise with external advisors with respect to appropriate transfer pricing policies, research, planning and documentation
  • Leading and participation in internal multi-disciplined and multi-jurisdictional working groups that are mandated to establish and enforce transfer pricing policies globally throughout the firm
  • Distribution and communication of relevant transfer pricing information within Citigroup
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Transfer Pricing is a key focus area.  It's importance provides opportunities to work across all businesses, geographies and with Citi Seniors.  The role provides development in people management and leading teams.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years + transfer pricing experience, including thorough understanding of US Transfer Pricing Regulations and OECD requirements.
  • Relevant degree; Mathematics,  Tax, Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and technical research skills, and proven management skills. 
  • Financial Services experience a plus.
  • Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  • The ability to think strategically and effectively identify, research and manage emerging transfer pricing issues.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
