Responsibilities
The Chief Administrative Office’s EUC Governance Program establishes an enterprise-wide governance and management framework for Citi's End User Computing (EUC) tools and processes. EUC Governance Program partners with Global Businesses and Functions to define policies, procedures, and drive initiatives to support EUC tool control management, including ensuring its alignment with EUC Policy, Standard, and Procedure requirements and its management approach to measure adherence to those guidelines. The Senior EUC Business Analyst for this position is a seasoned self-starter that manages multiple enhancement projects including problem-solving, analyzing business process, and executing the collection, elicitation, and recording of business requirements (Agile user stories) for strategic or tactical development efforts. This position entails evaluating and analyzing activities on a large scale including creating process workflows, screen mockups, use cases and descriptive documentation that supports the end-to-end enhancement lifecycle process. As an intermediary (customer relationship manager) between the business and technology, diplomacy, strong communication and a personable demeanor is required. The successful candidate coordinates with presence, influences key stakeholders to champion support while fostering cooperation and partnership. The role requires attention to detail when writing requirements and making recommendations based on analysis of multi-sourced information. The candidate should have the ability to conduct activities and perform tasks related to: Product (PAT) / User Acceptance (UAT) and Production Validation (PVT)testing, production releases, perform root cause analysis, identify defects/bugs, and recommend appropriate courses of action. Manage a release plan of work as well as support stakeholder queries, conduct enhancement regional showcases and create training and instructional videos and guidance documents.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with business end users to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new enhancements or update existing features or processes.
- Provides technical knowledge to ensure efficient design, development and implementation of End User Computing Governance tooling including reporting.
- Reviews and evaluates requests for enhancements, then creates user stories, workflows, use cases, mockups, etc
- Leads system change process from requirements through implementation. Integrate Agile testing and quality assurance to ensure continuous attention to technical excellence and user satisfaction.
- Follow PAT/UAT/PVT schedule, create test scripts and deliver testing results/feedback to development team.
- Ensure code quality assurance and non-regression with rigorous testing methodology over the design of existing code using refactoring techniques.
- Provide systems analysis, design, configuration, implementation, and support for custom developed web applications.
- Applies good understanding of technical concepts and procedures within own business analysis area to resolve issues.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of business analysis collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
- Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.
- Responsible for delivery of end results and contributes to planning, budget management and formulation of procedures, which directly affects the business analysis area; influences resource planning.
- Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s); where applicable.
- Contributes to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within team; involved in coaching and training of new staff.
- Willingness to performs other duties and functions as assigned. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrates particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function; integrates work experience, subject matter, and industry expertise within a defined area.
- Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.
- Works some evenings, as needed, and support weekend enhancement or maintenance production releases and Continuity of Business (COB) testing; flexible and passionate team player that pitches in to accomplishes goals.
Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years relevant experience, preferable in an Agile SCRUM development environment bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Preferably in a Business, Communications, MIS, Finance, or related discipline)
- Strong program/project management using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects; meets project deadlines and uses resources effectively and efficiently
- In-depth understanding of Agile/SCRUM application planning methodology as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business
- Excellent written and communication skills, as well as ability to write or proofread and edit correspondence and procedures
- Strong program/project management using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects; meets project deadlines and uses resources effectively and efficiently
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes; thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong PowerPoint presentation required; effectively presents information Strong process mapping skills required; ability to gather and analyze data, organize findings, build presentations
- Strong proficiency in JIRA and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Self-motivated, positive, creative, innovative thinker, customer-oriented, resourceful, flexible
- Highly organized multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and manage time strategically
- Monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes while remaining focused on critical detail
