The PBWM Chief Administrative Office Project Snr. Group Manager will support the Head of PBWM Automation Utility and the leadership team with development and execution of strategic initiatives and establish routines and partnerships with key stakeholders within and outside of the PBWM Automation Utility organization. Additionally, this role will interface with Business Control partners to lead and support Risk and Control activities and the orchestration and coordination of related deliverables as required by the business. This role will also play a key role in driving and supporting talent training and development efforts in partnership with the Automation Utility Talent Team.


  • Develop and maintain partnerships and routines with key stakeholders within and outside of the Automation Utility organization. Communicate and advise on project/program matters with executive management and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and evolve robust project tracking and monitoring practices to anticipate and manage risks; introduce meaningful solutions and continually ensure processes (the “how”) are optimized to enable rapid decisioning.
  • Liaise between Automation teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of automation deliverables and alignment with process risk and control objectives. This may include the communication of book of work, issue status and risk disposition to all stakeholders, on a timely basis.
  • Liaise between Control teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of Risk and Control deliverables and alignment with process risk and control objectives.
  • Prepare executive and team communications and summary materials for executive forums including monthly operating reviews and other reporting routines. 
  • Keep abreast of operational processes and requirements to support organizational objectives.
  • Ensure adherence with quality standards pertaining to Automation and Risk & Control activities.
  • Drive and support talent training and development efforts in partnership with the Automation Utility Talent Team.
  • Support the management and development of a high performing team, helping build talent bench strength to support needed automation capabilities and business goals.
  • Directs key initiatives within the business through the collection, analysis, review, reporting, documentation and communication of business needs and requirements.
  • Manages resource allocation of work on key projects/initiatives.
  • Deals with complex and highly variable issues with substantial potential business impact.
  • Applies ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations.
  • Advises or coach to new or lower level personnel in the business processes and procedures of area supported.
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Influences strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services that have direct impact on the business Utilizes excellent communication skills required to influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


  • 10+ years of applicable experience
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and influence executive audiences
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners and management to define strategies that balance risk and return; holds self, seniors, and peers accountable to openly debate the best possible solutions
  • Excellent communicator: ability to engage and inspire team forward
  • Effective coaching, mentoring and talent development skills; ability to identify development areas, provide sound feedback, and guide employees to action

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
