Citi’s Enterprise Infrastructure Operations & Technology (EIO&T) group is looking for NPower Trainees to join our Internship/Apprenticeship Program. The 6-month program starts in January and begins with a full day of induction training.

Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Technology (EIO&T) plays a central role in driving value for Citi and its clients. Some of EIO&T Functions include:

•    Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is responsible for analyzing cyber threat information designed to increase Citi's cyber threat awareness and protection levels. 
•    Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) provide a critical technical foundation for the firm’s operations through the infrastructure that runs business and general user computing services. 
•    Global Functions Technology (GFT) provides application development and support for systems used by global functions, such as Finance, Risk, Compliance and Human Resources
•    Citi Shared Services (CSS) provides world-class, scalable finance, human resources, business, travel, human capital reporting, identification and access management services to Citi’s businesses and operational units. 
•    Chief Operating Office (COO) develops, implements and manages business strategies and functions for Enterprise Infrastructure Operations and Technology (EIO&T). It also hosts the Operations and Technology Risk and Control (OTRC) and Operational Resiliency function to mitigate risks that arise from the execution of activities which Operations & Technology (O&T) is responsible for or engaged in.

The 6-month internship is designed to bring your NPower training into Citi. NPower internships will be assigned to work with an EIO&T team. Through ongoing professional and technical training and networking and mentoring opportunities, NPower Interns build the necessary professional and leadership skills for future success.  Role assignments change each cycle based on the business needs of each EIO&T group.  Below are some examples of assignments:

•    Cyber Security data analysis 
•    Data Protection analysis
•    Product & Project Management
•    Private & Hybrid Cloud Design
•    Converting raw data into intelligence
•    Performing web and mobile application testing and scans
•    Identifying defects in online tools
•    Creating dashboards and scorecards to summarize data 
•    Software Development (wide variety)
•    Review, Testing, Certification using CTI Automation tools
•    Create an overview of sourcing process
•    Automating analytical processes
•    Analytics projects
•    API Development & Integration 
•    IT Support / Help Desk Support


•    Current NPower Trainee in NY or Dallas
•    You have an interest working in a high tech global technology environment and have a fundamental understanding of technologies, including by not limited to programing languages, application development, IT Support, or basic concepts of relational databases.
•    Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
•    Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
•    Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry
•    Unquestioned commitment to integrity ethical decision-making
•    You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
