Digital Software Engineering Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineering Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Accountable for all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation in Agile development lifecycles. Perform Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile ceremonies like Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Stand ups. Develop, code, test, debug, implement, and support financial applications using Java, Java2 Enterprise Edition, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and OraaS (Oracle as a Service) for database storage. Translate requirements into innovative solutions providing excellent client experiences aligned with Digital’s architectural roadmap. Collaborate with onshore/offshore contract resources, ensuring adherence to processes and standards. Develop Citibank Credit Card and Bank related functions on web, Mobile, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot and Microservices based applications. Develop applications in Angular and Java. Unit test modules integrating the with backend systems, testing to ensure there are no security vulnerabilities. Collaborate cross-functionally to review requirements, ensure that they are clear, concise, and technically feasible, and convert requirements into tasks. Collaborate cross-functionally to design workflows and research new technology. Work cross-functionally to perform development and testing of modules. Participate in vulnerability testing and unit testing application. Ensure continuous improvements of processes, application designs, and application execution. Mentor junior team members to understand coding standards, procedures and chain of command in order to develop and maintain applications. Remain abreast of emerging digital technologies. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation. Four (4) years of experience must include: Developing applications in Angular and Microservices using Spring Boot and Angular; Web and Responsive development using Angular; Java 8 or above and Angular 9 or above; Implementing business critical, high volume, and highly available web and mobile applications; Behavior-driven development using Cucumber; Cloud-based development using Java Rest Template or Web client and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Working on Agile teams and participating in all of the Agile ceremonies, including stand ups, grooming, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives; Using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and Splunk for log monitoring; and Using Bitbucket for source control as code repository for checking in and committing code. 40 hrs./wk.
