Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Develop, design, and build application features for Citi Retail Service and other critical systems. Write code in JavaScript, CSS, and Angular to support front-end development. Responsible for micro-service development in Java and Spring. Expose and consume APIs and design and interact with databases. Responsible for cloud-based development, leveraging tools including Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Amazon Web Services. Use Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, including Jenkins, Maven, Git, RTC, and Jira. Responsible for Test Driven Development. Collaborate with vendors who may provide components of the technology that will meet the end to end needs. Lead projects that will be executed using agile methodology with dynamic team of technical, business and vendors. Collaboratively work with Engineering Manager and Agile Development Engineering Team to create new and innovative customer solutions. Design and implement new functionality and improve existing products that includes integration patterns, instrumentation and tooling to measure effectiveness and productivity. Contribute to how the Digital technology organization will evolve as these new technologies are better understood and impacts on the existing platforms and teams are better understood.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Delivery Project Lead, Associate Consultant, Technology Analyst, or related position performing application development and upgrading existing applications. 5 years of experience must include: JAVA/J2EE, Spring MVC, Struts, REST API, Oracle Web Service; Angular JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, Grunt, Backbone; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; Software Development Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile); Cloud Platforms; and Style Sheets including LESS, SASS, Data Transfer protocols including XML, JSON.
