COB & CM Senior Analyst
The COB & CM Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of their associated business units in order ensure business continuity plans address and mitigate the impact of various crisis events. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
Responsibilities:
- The COB & CM Senior Analyst supports Citigroup's Continuity of Business (COB) organization within the Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) organization.
- The role of the Regional Lead Business Recovery Coordinator is to provide subject matter expertise and governance to the Business Recovery Coordinators within a given region in their development of Business Impact Assessment (BIA); Business Recovery Plans(BRP) , Crisis Management Plans (CMP). Ensure CTI complies with all aspects of Citi's CoB program with respect to meeting its planning and testing deliverables.
- Document results and perform annual attestation in enterprise system to support year end regulatory reporting
- Track record as a strong analyst – recognized as able to deliver work in pressured environments.
- Hands on approach and able to manage own work load whilst taking direction.
- Attention to detail and ability to discuss document and confirm process flows.
- Sufficiently experienced to provide feedback for areas of improvement and realign strategy accordingly.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years Experience in business continuity management, disaster recovery and /or risk management
- 2-3 years experience of technology project management,
- Broad conceptual understanding of technology
- Industry certification in business continuity preferred (CBCP from DRII)
- Technology Operations experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree with major in Engineering , Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Excel.
The ability to identify, analyze and solve problems systematically ( critical thinker)
